We fell in love with this beautiful chocolate female the minute we laid eyes on her.    She had a litter of 12,
yes, TWELVE healthy pups, 6 boys and 6 girls.  They are just adorable!!

There is still an outstanding male left in this litter.  Don't miss out !!!!
Izzy here to tell you about how I'm feeling.  FAT !!  Yes, that's the best word to describe how I look and feel.
I waddle up the steps to go outside.  I waddle down the steps to go to my area.  I look like there could be 20
pups inside me.  And, the way they are moving around, it wouldn't surprise me.  But, since I can only milk 10, I
hope it's a more manageable number.  I average 8 pups each time.

I'm roommates with Millie downstairs until we get close to having our babies.  Then, I move up to the laundry
room.  My nice master, Joe, built me a brand new whelping box.   I must tell you that it is big and looks very,
very nice.  There is plenty of room for me and my upcoming boys and girls.  In fact, he built it so roomy that if I
have 20 pups, there is room for all of us.  I'm due starting the 14th of this month.  My owners, Joe and Candy,
tell me it's the 60th day from my first breeding with that handsome Duke.  I'm the luckiest Wood Lab girl.
Joe and Candy always sit with me when I whelp and help me if I need it.
Millie here to tell you that Izzy is very fat!  Of course, I'm a bit larger dog than she.  So, I handle my
pregnancy much better.  Ok, ok, I'm fat too!  Grrrrrowl!  But, no wonder.  I have a history of having an average
of 9 pups per litter.  My first litter was 6 pups, then 8, then 10, then 12, then 9.  So, I wouldn't be surprised if
I had 8 or 9 again.   March 19 is 60 days from my first breeding to the most handsome male Lab in the world,
Duke.  He is allowed to look and sniff his offspring shortly after they are born.  I would never growl at him to
get out.

Since I am such a natural mother and I do everything right by my newborns, I prefer to be downstairs with my
brood.  I have the older whelping box, but I like that one.  It is big and fits my brood as well.   I am a  mother
who can move my pups around quickly in my mouth and using my front legs.  I do like it when Joe and Candy sit
with me during whelping.  They ooh and ah about how good I do.  I, too, am the luckiest Wood Lab girl.  I'm proud
to say that my owners will keep one of my girls and name her Duke's "Raven" Wood.
Princess here to let you know that I am getting bigger and bigger all the time.  Candy, my owner, tells me not to
say I am fat, just pregnant.  I have a history of having smaller litters.  The first was 5, then 6 and 6.  But, my
pups are born the size of a 2 week old pup.  I just want to be  like Candy. She had big babies too.

I get to have my babies in a bedroom.  I like being in there with my owners when they sleep.  I try to keep my
children quiet.  But when they eat, they slurp and sound like a bunch of kitties.  I let Duke, my father come in
to check out his grandpups.  He is always so proud of me.  The dad of my pups, DuBay,  is just as handsome as my
father.  My pups will be so cute!  My owners are keeping a boy pup and naming him Driven Du Be Hunting.
"Driver", named after Donald Driver from the Green Bay Packers should prove to be an outstanding hunting Lab
as well as a future sire.  I am the luckiest Wood Lab girl.
